A Resistance Welding Machine is a device that uses the resistance heat generated when current passes through the workpiece and the welding contact surface to heat the workpiece to a plastic or partially melted state, and then applies pressure to form a welded joint. Its working principle is based on Joule's law, which states that the heat generated when current passes through a conductor is directly proportional to the square of the current, the resistance of the conductor, and the duration of the current.
Wide Application in the Manufacturing of Automotive Parts
Welding of body structural components: For the structural components of a car body, such as doors, roofs, side panels, and frames, resistance welding technology is widely used for connection. Take car door welding as an example. The resistance welding machine can quickly and accurately weld the inner and outer panels of the car door together, ensuring that the car door has high strength and good sealing performance. By precisely controlling parameters such as welding current, time and pressure, high-quality welded joints can be achieved, effectively enhancing the overall strength and stability of the vehicle body and providing a solid guarantee for the safety performance of the car.
Welding of engine-related components: As the core component of a car, the welding quality of engine parts is of vital importance. Engine blocks are usually made of cast iron or aluminum alloy. Welding of automotive electronic components: In the field of automotive electronics, the welding quality requirements for various connection wires, sensors, circuit boards and other components are extremely high to ensure stable and reliable operation in the complex and ever-changing automotive operating environment. For instance, in the welding of platinum resistance in automotive sensors, precise welding techniques are required to ensure the accuracy of temperature measurement. Resistance welding machines, in combination with specialized welding process technology, can achieve welding without the addition of solder and flux. Other component welding: Resistance welding technology is also widely used in numerous components of automobiles, such as transmission housings, exhaust pipes, and seat frames. For the transmission housing, resistance welding can firmly connect different housing components, meeting their strength requirements in complex transmission processes. The welding of exhaust pipes needs to ensure good sealing to reduce exhaust gas leakage. Resistance welding machines can achieve this goal very well. The welding of the seat frame requires a certain degree of strength and stability. The resistance welding process can ensure the safety and comfort of the seat during use.
