Folding Machine for Staggered Type Fin Evaporator
The Staggered Fin Evaporator Assembly Machine is composed of workbench, tension device, folding device, length adjustment device and electric control device. The whole set of action is driven by oil cylinder, while the electric appliance is controlled by relay. This core unit is also compatible with the CNC Staggered Tube-Fin Welding System and Precision Fin Forming Press System for integrated production linkage.
I. Workbench Structure
The workbench is the square tube and welded-steel plate construction, and equipped with two pneumatic jointers and the air valve group, serving as the base carrier for the Staggered Fin Evaporator Assembly Machine’s clamping and positioning procedures.
II. Tension Device Composition
Tension device is composed of tension cylinder and dead plate, guide components and tension dropheads, providing stable clamping force matching the fin forming requirements of the Precision Fin Forming Press System.
III. Folding Device Composition
The folding device is composed of folding cylinder and mounting plate, two racks for reverse heads and diagonal making head components. The diagonal making cylinder drives the diagonal making axles in diagonal making head components to rotate through gear rack, and the pipes in the axles can be made diagonal when the diagonal making axles in the two sliding plates rotate towards reverse directions, realizing the precision folding process required for staggered fin assembly.
IV. Size Adjustment Device Composition
The size adjustment device is composed of lead screw, feeding box/ sliding box and their base, bearing pedestal, locknut and hand wheel. The bearing pedestal is integrated with the roof of guide component, tension cylinder is installed in feeding box/ sliding box base, and shake the hand wheel and rotate the lead screw to adjust the distance between tension dropheads and folding diagonal making heads, adapting to diversified specifications of the CNC Staggered Tube-Fin Welding System.
V. Electric Control Configuration
The low-voltage apparatus of electric control gear adopts the Schneider brand, ensuring stable control for the Staggered Fin Evaporator Assembly Machine and auxiliary system linkage.
Equipment Operating Instructions
Firstly, adjust the distance between tension dropheads and folding diagonal making heads through lead screw according to the product length, to make it conform to the size requirements of product. Put the single chips after diagonal making into 3 R module, tread the foot pedal, tension cylinder to drive the tension dropheads move a certain distance upward, and make the pipes tension; next, the folding cylinder promotes the folding diagonal making axles to rotate through gear rack, and rotate the two round heads at the end of single chips by 60° and 120° in the multiple of 1:2 in reverse directions; after the reverse is in place, the tension cylinder is restored to loosen the pipes; then the folding cylinder is restored. At this time, take out the workpieces by hand. This flow applies to the Staggered Fin Evaporator Assembly Machine, with auxiliary coordination from the CNC Staggered Tube-Fin Welding System and Precision Fin Forming Press System.
