Customize Fin Pipe Expander for Condenser and Evaporator

Working Principle

The expander, categorized as an Industry Special Machine, is mainly composed of Fin Die, unloading device, fin pressing unit, positioning assembly, expanding rod telescopic guiding mechanism, working platform and electrical control unit. All operational movements are powered by hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, with the whole electrical system controlled by relays.

Operators first load fins into fin dies one after another, and set pre-twisted flattened tubes on expanding rods accordingly. After triggering the start command, the fin pressing mechanism descends, and the positioning cylinder pushes and locks the rod guiding assembly. The hydraulic unit of the telescopic guiding structure then drives expanding rods along with tubes to fit into fins inside dies. Once positioned accurately, expanding rods retreat while tubes remain fixed inside fins, and the fin pressing part resets automatically. The unloading structure finally pushes out finished evaporators to finish the full working flow of this Automatic Type production device.

Reliable expansion effect and stable product quality of the equipment are realized through high-grade raw materials and precise manufacturing techniques. Fin dies, guide rods and expanding rods are all manufactured from professional die steel. Different from 45# steel and spring steel, this material keeps slight deformation after wire cutting, ensuring outstanding straightness and stiffness to fully comply with production standards. As the core functional part of this Portable Expander, the expanding rod is integrally processed from solid die steel through six-side wire cutting, which greatly lowers processing deformation.
