This specialized equipment is designed for the integrated processing of coil copper pipes, realizing a full-process automation from raw material unwinding to the formation of finished U-shaped pipes (also known as hairpin pipes). Its core working process covers four key links: pipe opening, straightening, chipless cutting, and bending, which are completed in a continuous and orderly manner through the equipment's integrated control system, without the need for manual intervention in the intermediate links.
In the initial stage of processing, the coil copper pipe is first subjected to the pipe opening process. The equipment uses a precision-guided opening mechanism to smoothly unfold the coiled copper pipe, avoiding deformation or scratches on the pipe surface caused by forced unwinding. Subsequently, the unfolded copper pipe enters the straightening link: relying on multi-group precision roller straighteners, the pipe is corrected for any bending or distortion existing in the coil state, ensuring that the copper pipe maintains high straightness, which lays a solid foundation for the accuracy of subsequent cutting and bending processes.
After straightening, the copper pipe is transported to the chipless cutting station. Compared with traditional mechanical cutting methods, the chipless cutting technology adopted by this equipment can cut the copper pipe into set lengths without generating chips. This not only avoids material waste caused by chip loss but also ensures the flatness and smoothness of the pipe section, preventing burrs that may affect the subsequent assembly and sealing performance of the U-shaped pipe. Finally, the cut copper pipe segments are sent to the bending mechanism, which accurately bends the pipe into a U-shape that meets the preset size requirements, forming the finished hairpin pipe.
The equipment is mainly applied to the automatic production line of long U-shaped pipes in air-conditioning condensers and evaporators.
